In a move to increase the public awareness of our organisation and attract some youth to our membership, Wide Bay Burnett Conservation Council has created a Facebook page accessable to Facebook users.
Facebook is a social networking site with some 30 million members. The WBBCC page is managed by WBBCC Coordinator Emma-Kate Currie. The page will offer similar information to the existing WBBCC Website but will be targeted to a more youth based audience. If it’s successful, we should start to attract members in the near future.
